When do you start your OPKs?

Hey y'all! 
This is mostly just out of curiosity on my part. What day in your cycle do you usually start taking your OPKs?  I usually start once my CM loosens up and it's not sticky anymore and becomes more creamy. (Sorry, TMI)
Do you have a time you usually start them, and what time of day do you take them?

My cm is always different and I never get ewcm so I can't tell by that.

I start taking my opks the day after my period goes off. I don't want to miss my peak or ovulation. So I order a box from amazon that has about 50 in it. It's the cheap ones. And I take two a day. One around 11am and 7pm. And when I get a positive or if I can't tell if it's positive I will get an clear blue first response etc test to take that comes up smiley faces. And I donut twice a day until I get my peak.
