what kind of clothes to buy?

I am due to have my baby girl June 25. I live in Virginia so around that time it will be 90-98 degrees outside and usually very sunny. I am a first time mom and I have no clue what types of clothes I should be buying her, especially being a newborn in the heat. I want her to be as comfortable as possible. Also, being in an air conditioned house what should she sleep in? Thanks!

I am going by this for my lo, it has helped so far. I bought a few newborn onesies n sleepers that had the mittens built in bc her hands r too small for regular mittens; she will go to town on her face if I don't keep her in newborn onesies

Honestly I would wait to see what your baby likes. My husband and I sleep with two fans on every night even when it's 10degrees out and we keep our heat set to about 64 so we were worried our son would freeze. We bundled him up at first but he turned out to hate being hot just like us so he doesn't need as many layers as we thought. Also, we thought he would be a bigger baby so we didn't buy any newborn sizes. He ended up being a peanut and he's 5 weeks still wearing newborn stuff. So I would definitely advise waiting both to learn what your baby likes also to get the right sizes for the right seasons.

Onesies are the best. I live in Mississippi. My son was born in Sept.  He wore onesies up until he started crawling. They are easy to get on & off. And you can layer other clothes.
