Miscarriage/Trying Again/Birth Control

Haley
I had a D and C, and a cyst removed on 12/1/2016 due to a miscarriage, I started AF this Wednesday 2/8/2017 and it is SUPER HEAVY. I mean, filling a pad every hour (doctor doesn't want me using tampons). My doctor wants me to go on birth control for 1-3 months to get the bleeding under control and to regulate my cycle, even though she knows we want to try again. I want to know if I should take the birth control or not? I don't want to lose 1-3 months of trying again. My husband and I really want to try for another baby. I had a sonogram on 1/30/2017 and she said my endometrium is VERY thick and that is probably the cause of all the bleeding. She also said I have a cyst (again) on my left ovary. I have taken the birth control for the last two nights, but I'm just torn between continuing taking it or stopping it and trying again. Have any of you been in this situation? If so, what were your outcomes?
