Can I just vent about my MIL (because I know you all will understand)

Sent my mother in laws pictures of the baby and my fiancé's step mom responded "Oh, he's growing up so fast and I'm missing it all"

You guys, BOTH of my mother in laws give me the guilt trip about not seeing my son enough and BOTH of them have recently turned down an opportunity to see/babysit him. I'm not buying into that for one second. His mom "couldn't" watch him while we went to a wedding because she was going home to watch the football game and his step mom visits her husband in prison 4 hours away every single weekend. I have no sympathy. My mom lives on the other side of the mountains (3 hour drive and has no car) but she would hop on a greyhound the second I asked if needed.

I have enough going on trying to keep up with a very active 7 month old! If you want to see him call me and make plans!
