25, unmarried, and pregnant

I just found out that I am pregnant. I am 25 years old with a stable full time job as a QA Analyst in San Luis Obispo. My SO is 23 working part time and going to college to increase his odds at the police academy. We do not live together and his family is extremely catholic. I know that I can handle the responsibility of raising a child but it's putting a lot of pressure and stress on my SO. He's upset about the timing because he wants to be able to support us. Any advice?
