daycare...

Okay so I just visited my sister and her AMAZING daughter who is 1.5 years old. And I learned that she puts her in daycare from 7:30AM - 4:30PM four days a week. And, it could be pregnancy hormones, but it made me SO SAD. I know it's a reality for many moms. So what I'm asking for here is to basically make me feel better about it haha! How can daycare be good for kids? What are some benefits of it?
I can't tell my sister how to be a mom so I just have to accept it. If I lived in town I would watch her everyday, but I live 3,000 miles away. And it just breaks my heart to think of my sister losing all that precious time with her and to think of sweet baby girl stuck at daycare (although the lady seems really nice).
