Please help

Ok so our daughter was born 1/26 and her sugar was low. I Immediately Went To BF. And I tried to exclusively bf the first week. She didn't really wanna latch and guards weren't an option. She is now 3 weeks old and I've been bf a few times a day and formula the rest. Also have some pumped breast in the freezer. I took 2 aleve the other day and now I'm scared to let her get some "titty". I would love to go back to letting her nurse a couple times a day. Any opinions that are positive are welcomed. Is it safe now or was it safe to begin with. I know a lil is better than none
