Clingy baby or ?

My daughter will be 8months on the 20th. Recently she's been really clingy, to the point where I can't be 5ft away from her. Anyone's baby like this? Or does anyone have tips?! ANYTHING helps! ❤

I highly recommend getting The Wonder Weeks app! They are starting to really understand relationship right. Ow so this is part of normal development. That app is seriously amazing though! It helps so much when you're not sure what is going on!

You're not alone! lol mine has gotten a little better lately, but I'm wearing her throughout the day to get things done at home. It's rough!

Glad I'm not the only one going through this! She used to love her playroom- now it's all I can do to take her in there without her clinging to me. Forget trying to get laundry, pee break etc done without a meltdown. Thank goodness for my baby wrap- baby wearing is literally the only reason my house is still standing. 😂
Elliana has also recently developed a shyness when around new people (or people she hasn't seen in awhile...). I was told I'm spoiling her because I don't force her to be friendly with people until she's comfortable. 😕 Anyone else's little ones going through this?

Super clingy!!!! If I start to walk away she's grabbing at my legs and starts screaming hysterically!! It makes it hard to get anything done. I'll admit that the baby bum songs on Netflix will keep her occupied while I do little things around the house. It's music and educational so that's my justification. I wasn't gonna let her watch tv at a young age but sometimes mama has to pee!

My baby has been that way since birth ! If she see me walking away from her she crys and holds her arms outs for me to get her ... But it's so cute even if I can never get nothing done.

Same here. It's part of the leap they are going through at this age (look up wonder weeks) but basically they revert and act more babyish because they are going through a developmental leap.

My daughter is the same way now. Even when I drop her off at the babysitters (she's always been fine before and has been going for the past 4 months) all she wants to do is be held or near me. Sometimes distracting her with toys gives me a small bit of time.
