One size fits all?

Question

I was thinking earlier how most articles of clothing should not have anything "one size fits all". Like dresses. 
Uh no...that dress makes her look good because she probably weighs 110 soaking wet. I, however, look like Hungry Hungry Hippo. 
Does anyone else think that we should just do away with one size fits all clothes?

Yeah because it's essentially impossible. Maybe for something that's adjustable then I could see labeling it as such. Maybe like sunglasses or something are but certainly not a shirt or dress

I havent  seen one size fits all in forever,  I've  seen one size fits "most" . It was changed for this reason.

It doesn't say you'll look good, it says it will fit you. A majority of "One size fits all" items are things like hats, scarfs, Shaw's, etc.

Honestly I just feel like they're doing it because they're too cheap to make actual different sizes, they'd rather use the same pattern, measurements, etc, for everything. It shows they're not serious about actually providing people with clothes.

I mean, I think it's self explanatory that one size does not fit all. I think it's dumb and they need to just put normal sizes on their clothes. 
Like Brandy Melville clothes, I don't even fit in them and I'm pretty small. If they wanted to target their clothing line to only petite women, they should have said so. I feel like they put "one size fits all" to try and reach out to a wider audience even though only certain people can wear their clothes.

Not for everything. I've found that OSFA socks, skirts, leggings, and shorts tend to fit anyone pretty well as long as it has a lot of (comfortable) elastic and is stretchy and the people aren't of an extreme height difference. (I'm 5'2 and most OSFA clothing have been too big and the crotches are usually too long lol).

However I'm not a fan of OSFA clothing by designers like Brandy Melville, for example. I'm petite and they're too big on me while they're too small on most average/slightly overweight+ people. I've never seen BM fit well on anyone, honestly. Even if it fits you fine it ends up being too short or too long or whatever so I think they need to do away with that size for BM. It just depends on the brand for me, really. OSFA can work very well for some but not for others.

I say don't buy it online or try it on first. You should have a decent idea of whether it might fit before you even try it. If I always had rotten luck, I'd just avoid him. But I wouldn't make manufacturers stop carrying them. If they want to waste money on sizes that don't fit many, that's their problem.

Ya like honestly stores like brandy melville are dumb. Ya there's some stuff that's oversized, but only girls like me who are very petite can fit in a majority of the stuff. I haven't shopped there since it first came out cuz it's just over rated anyway and when I go in the store it's just me and a bunch of 13 year old girls lol
