I'm type 1, I wear a CGM but still have to test 2-3 times a day.  Prior to the CGM was testing 10-12 times a day.  It's not fun, but it makes a world of difference for both you and baby when your numbers are good.  You can do this!!!

I had gestational diabetes and it is was a pain in the ass! But I managed mine so well that while I was in labor, they only drew my blood once when I was first getting induced. Typically they draw it every hour to monitor it, but they said I was the first one to not need it every hour, at that hospital at least.

That's me!  I have been diagnosed two weeks ago and after two weeks of pricking myself 4 times a day and managing my diet, my OB said my numbers looked great and said I need to test every other day!!!  Yay to little victories!  Once you get the hang of it (what you can eat, what you can, what types of carbs and how much carbs your body can handle at different times of the day), it's not that bad at all.  I even get to have a small dessert if I want to.

Im type 2 diabetic i check mine 7 times a day and put insulin once in the morning amd once at bedtime and im taking metformin twice a day . Its very annoying and gets to u really bad . My sugars arent so good im being monitored every 2 weeks im 24 weeks pregnant .
