Solids?

Question

Hi everyone! I was just curious when everyone is starting their little ones on solids? I know they say 4-6 months but I was wondering when everyone planned on starting. Also, are you nursing or using formula? Thanks!

We won't do it until 6 months. She's just recently become veryyyy interested so from 4-6 months we decided to allow lucks or tastes here and there. We've been working on cups and she loves them 😍

I actually started when baby was 3 months. At 3 months he ate only few bites every other day or so. He is now 4.5 months and I feed him solids twice a day, morning and night. Each day he eats around 2-3 tablespoons, so not mich. Baby is doing great at it, fussing a lot less than he used to, poops everyday, and sleeping well. I believe just start when your baby is ready, every baby is different.

I'm doing BLW (baby lead weaning)starting at 6 months.

4 months old and just started introducing a few spoonfuls a day then breastfeeding after. Just to get him used to it. No full feedings yet. Won't start that for about another month. That's what our pediatrician recommended

We just started the baby oatmeal mixed with breast milk or formula. She's breastfed at home, half and half at daycare

Remember that food before 1 is just for fun and never before 6 months ;)
