Staying visitors- When baby arrives

Em
Ok so we are about to have our second child due 6th March. Anyway bit of bk story with my first child my partner only had a week off so let my MIL come stay the second week. Then MIL other son had a child and they made her wait two months before seeing baby which I know was an issue.  This time round I'm not ready for MIL to come stay second week in. This time we, me and partner have decided as he get two weeks off we would then like another two weeks to get things running as a normal family before MIL comes and stays for Easter. I mentioned this to MIL and she almost flipped saying easters end of April. I'm like no it's not it's beginning / middle . Anyway she wasn't best happy and kept bringing up it better be before baby is two months. I was shocked how selfish she was taking all this when baby isn't due till 6th March and could be late anyway.
MIL did in the past try and make out she understood we would need some family time but now I think she was just saying that to test the water so to speak.  I know when she visits it won't be for two three days but more like a week or more and I'm fine with that as long as I get the time we need to begin settling into a routine. My thoughts where with MIL visiting Easter eveyone will be excited about Easter as we do an ester egg hunt and really plan fun activities over that weekend for family so it wouldn't seem to my three year old baby is so centre of attention still. Am I wrong to want to protect and ease in my oldest to being a big sister and want to have family time as our little family. ?? Yes I know other family and friends are able to pop in for an hour or so when baby born but I have no-one to put MIL up for a couple of days and she would always come for a week or longer.... guess I'm stressing over it as I don't want to hurt my MIL feelings but I have to do what I feel is right for my family right???  Waffle / rant over :)
