I'm due for my first child on 10/21 and I'm the maid of honor in my best friends wedding, which she wants to have on Nov 4 a few hours away. Should I tell her to find a new MOH because I won't make it or is it possible?

Physically I felt fine. Mentally I was exhausted. Also, think about the dress. My body was a mess, even tho I felt fine.

It's really hard to say how you'll feel or when exactly baby will come. I had a vaginal delivery with no tearing but baby broke my tailbone on the way out. Sitting and transitioning from sitting to standing were incredibly painful. At 2 weeks pp I had just stopped serious painkillers. No way would i have been up for a wedding. If she's a friend that can roll with punches you could tell her your love to if feeling up for it but to be flexible. If not I'd say you probably want to bow out nicely and just be a guest. Hopefully she can understand if she's a good friend.

I think I'd kindly bow out. Especially with the chances of not wearing a dress that suits your body 2 weeks after birth?! If you just go as a guest then you can wear what you please and leave when you want to!

I'm 9 days past my c section and I feel pretty good. I'm assuming I'd feel pretty great had I gone vaginal. It's still tiring to stand for long periods of time. What if your baby goes overdue?
