does getting your membrane sweeper hurt?

I was thinking about asking my doctor to do a membrane sweep on me. I've heard it can be uncomfortable. How bad does it hurt? Or how does the feeling compare to getting checked ?

It don't hurt that bad it's just as uncomfortable as a pap it hurts for a second and then it's over

How long after you guys got your sweep did it take to go into labor?

I'd say it was just really uncomfortable and unpleasant. It does hurt slightly but it's bearable and is over with before you know it🙂

I think it hurt a little.  Not excruciating,  but uncomfortable and a bit unpleasant.  I did go into labor with our son the same day through,  so it was totally worth it !

If you've ever had a really uncomfortable borderline painful pelvic exam that's what it's is like. Your cervix is sensitive so it's not going to be fun but it's not too bad.
