pencillin and birth control??

I'm on the 21 day pill and my boyfriend came in me 2 days ago which was the day that i start my 7 day break. Today i developed tonsillitus and have been prescribed pencillin antibiotics. What should i do? Don't antibiotics reduce the BC effectiveness? Will i become pregnant?
