baby shower or no baby shower?

It's so early to even be thinking about. 
But my friend asked me this morning if I'll be having a baby shower? 
This will be my second child so I feel like no one will be as excited as the first haha, and my mum has said in the past that you only have a shower for the first child. 
But...I never actually made it to my baby shower with my daughter, she came five weeks early the week that my shower was suppose to be 😂 
Would it be weird if I had a baby shower this pregnancy?

My sister had my niece the day of her baby shower 😂 I'm pretty sure she will have one for her next. 
It's up to you. I know someone who has 3children, all same gender and had showers for each of them and there isnt even a year between any of them.

If I were you id want to have some sort of celebration. I've heard people use the term "sprinkle" for the second shower. Maybe not make a big deal about it? No registry but more of a party to celebrate.
