TMI: CM & Progesterone question. Please help!

Andrea
Ok so I'm 8dpIUI. It's our 5th IUI cycle but the first time using gonal f and progesterone pills. And all day today I have thick white CM and my lady parts ache off and on. It's not deep inside or extremely painful or anything just strange. Is this normal? I've read about spotting from the progesterone but nothing about achy lady parts. Help!

I HATED those suppositories and all the 'gunk' it created. I just found out I can do a shot of it instead. I'm definitely going that route this cycle (I mean, what's another needle prick at this point?... eye roll ;)). Thought I'd share in case it's an option for you, too :)

Thanks everybody for your answers. The CM hasn't been anything awful for me but it is different. Honestly I'm hoping it's a good sign. So far bloating is the only real side effect that I can tie to the progesterone which makes me feel like it's not working. I know that not how side effects work but I'd be more relieved to feel something different to know it's doing something. Ugh. I get to test this Wed tho! Fingers crossed!

I'm only 5 days past IUI but I also am taking progesterone due to  possible luteal phase defect. The nurse and doctor said I would have very sore breasts and cm would be thick creamy white. They also warned meof fatigue and constipation. Told me to up my fiber. I cannot test until march 4th! If I get a positive I have to keep taking progesterone if I get a negative I stop.

I just posted about the same exact thing. Yesterday it was thick white which I assumed was normal but last night it was so heavy I woke up thinking it was my period. My whole liner was completely soaked. TMI I know I'm sorry. I had no idea this was normal or not.
