Bleeding concerns

How long did you bleed after birth? With my firstborn it only lasted 6 days...with my second it's STILL going and he's 3.5 weeks old. I'm concerned about it actually because it seemed to finally be going away (like only a little brown tinted discharge) and then yesterday it started back with bright red bleeding. ARG! So tired of bleeding! Should I worry or is it common?
