Baby Bottle versus Water Bottle

My daughter has no interest in holding her bottle and she is 9 months. But, she will grab for my bottle of water, hold it, and drink from it (with assistance of course).

I have practiced with her numerous times to hold her own bottle, but she doesn't want too. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or...is this normal for some babies? Should I be concerned? I feel like I'm forcing her to do something she doesn't want to do yet or may not be ready to do yet. Help Mom's! ☺
