what diaper do you recommend

My son was a preemie at 35 weeks so he's been wearing preemie diapers. But he's gotten a lot bigger since then. (7 weeks now and weighs 8 pounds) the preemie diapers are to small but I tried fitting him into diapers that are 8 pounds but the diaper is to big for him. Do you guys recommend any diapers that might fit him?

They might feel big on him but there are stretchy lining protectors for just this scenario: so nothing leaks out. 
As kid becomes older - and gains weight - there needs to be some "room" in diapers for larger bowel movements otherwise it will overflow. You can use larger diapers and perhaps diaper size you've been using until now was a bit too small. 
Parenting is all about the learning curve and it always ascending higher :)

I didn't have a preemie, but huggies fit best when my son was born.

My son was wearing newborn diapers until he was almost 9 lbs. is that what you tried or did you jump right to a size 1? We use huggies I had leaks in luvs and we haven't tried pampers yet.
