Herpes or ingrown hair

If you have genital herpes will it ooze if you squeeze it? I generally don't know if this is a herpes sore or if it is just an infected ingrown hair. Please ladies help me out. I have tried go ogling things but I can't get a straight answer.

Edit: I have not had herpes lesions in the past, but I have had a cold sore before. I have been with my husband for 5 years so it wouldn't be something new I picked up, but was wondering if it could be from the hsv1. I probably will make an appointment with my doctor Monday, I just was kind of freaking out this morning. And yes I do shave.
