okay so i went to the gyno about a week ago and she checked me for everything & never called me to tell me bad news so i'm guessing everything's fine. but i've been with my boyfriend for 4 years and i know he doesn't have any std's but every time we have sex the day after my vagina is soooo itchy and red i can't figure out what it is. there's no weird discharge or smell either. we don't use condoms or anything

Yeast maybe? I get yeast infections from time to time and sometimes the only symptom is redness and itching. They mean nothing and are just caused by a growth in the yeast bacteria in the vagina. Could be from scented soaps, laundry detergent, or just from being too moist in that area. Next time after sex, just clean up really well, dry yourself, and let yourself air out by not wearing panties that night. And if it's yeast, yogurt helps a lot! Eat as much as you can!

You can never be too sure. I would get checked for everything including STD's. It could be BV or a similar infection. Sometimes semen and other factors can cause your PH to go out of wack. It can be numerous of things. If your doctor doesn't follow up with you maybe by next week you should give them a call about your results and maybe in the mean time until you find out what is going on you can use condoms and see if it makes a difference.

It could just be the way your body fluids mix. It happens to me sometimes so I usually just try to wash myself after we have sex. I also read an article about being allergic to semen. There's a billion possibilities but I would start by washing yourself after sex. That might help.
