How long did it take your body to bounce back after your first pregnancy?

pregnancy?" /> Just curious. I am 5'6 with a normal/healthy BMI of 23.4 and it would be helpful if someone with a similar body type could share their experience but all other experiences are greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

It took me about 6weeks with my first and I gained 50lbs. Breastfeeding helped for me a lot! I'm 5.6 and normal healthy BMI.

I'm 5'6 and normally 130 pounds. I gained 40 pounds with my first and lost 25 in the first week. Then I got pregnant when my daughter was 4 months old. For me I felt like breastfeeding made it more difficult for me to lose the weight. Most people say the oppposite but I was SO hungry all the time when I was breastfeeding.

I am 5'5" and weighed 100 before and gained 25lbs. After I had him I walked out in my clothes. I was back to myself within a couple weeks. I didn't do anything extra. Just took care of him. Belly was tight and back to normal by the time I went for my pp check. I did gain some hips, bottom and boobs that I didn't have before, not complaining. Lol! But my weight was around 110.

I'm 5'7" and weighed 114 before becoming pregnant with my son. I ended up gaining 50 pounds with him and after having a c section it was harder to get rid of the pudge that it left. My son is 3 1/2 and before I got pregnant with my second I was down to 134. So even after 3 1/2 years I didn't make it back to my original size.

5'6, not sure of my BMI but I've always been slightly borderline to underweight. I blew up with my first pregnancy, but literally dropped everything the second I had him. My belly was flat after a week, and I had my normal body back (plus stretch marks) by 3 weeks postpartum. Currently 30 weeks with number two, and praying I bounce back as quickly as I did with my first!
