Birth story!

This is my third pregnancy and third baby, so it was super fast and super boring!

I woke up to a strong contraction at 3:18 AM. I timed it because it was strong enough to wake me up. They were anywhere from 6 to 13 minutes apart for an hour, and then from 4:20 until 5 they were 4-5 minutes apart. I woke my husband and got the babysitter for the other two on her way. We left around 5:30, got to the hospital around 5:45. In triage they told me I was 7 cm with a bulging amniotic sack, and I was admitted. The anesthesiologist was busy in a cesarean, and barely got there in time. I did a couple of pushes before the doctor got there but had to stop because he was coming too fast and the doctor wasn't in the room yet. 3 more pushes, 2 of which we did without a contraction and he was out and screaming at 8:30 AM! 4 hours from the time my contractions became 5 minutes or less apart. My first with no tearing! 7 lbs 13 oz, 20 inches long.
