Mirena crash??

So, I just want a bit of advice.... I had my mirena coil removed last Monday through a general anasthetic, as they couldn't find it at the gp surgery. I've had it in for almost 5 years and now me and my husband want to try for a baby!!! I've had no trouble with it, except the initial agony it caused having it put in, and I have loved having it!! But since having it out I have been a total emotional wreck!!! It started on the Tuesday evening so it's been nearly a week and I am up and down like a roller coaster. One minute I am crying, the next I am screaming and angry and then next I am so horny it hurts!! I can't stop eating which is then making my angry and upset as I have a few issues surrounding food/excersise and I literally have no get up and go to do anything!!! 

I'm just wondering if a) this is normal, has anyone suffered the same? And b) how long does it last? Or is this just my crazy now?? Should my husband run while he can???
