ADVICE NEEDED!!!

So me and my boyfriend have been together for a while and lately we've been talking about me giving him a hand job or blow job. The thing is, I'm worried im not going to give him any pleasure... What if when I give him a hand job, I do it too hard or too soft? What are some tips to make him feel better when I'm doing this or to know if I am doing it wrong or not? It's gonna be my first time, but not his so I feel like I might not be as good as what he's had in the past. ILL TAKE ANY ADVICE OR TIPS FROM SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE.
