burning?

Anyone have a problem with burning and irritation on the labia and entrance of the vagina after a few days of using their diva cups? I get it really badly almost to the point like I feel like I have an infection but it goes away a few days after my period ends and I stop using the cup. Should I try a different brand-maybe I'm allergic to the material? Or has anyone troubleshooter anything like this before?

I use soft cups. They're disposable, and I don't have any problems.

It used to happen to me with tampons...could be a yeast infection from the changes happening from your cycle or maybe it's rubbing...try a different cup...and if it doesn't get better then I would say yeast infection...

The real question is are you using a mild soap on it that's vagina-friendly?

Same thing happens to me, I think it's friction, try using lube when you insert?

This happened to me the first two months i used my cup. It was the friction creating irritation around the vaginal hole, labia, and vulva: it got so bad that it spread upward to my clitoris. What i realized i was doing was washing it in between use with soap and that was creating irritation on top of not having enough lubrication upon insertion:
I stopped washing it with soap and only use warm water and i will now use a lube or coconut oil to help it slide it with ease.

I've noticed it mildly but as long as I make sure that my hands are super clean before I even go to take it out and that I wash my cup often it (and don't keep it in too long) I can usually keep any irritation down. But I also am prone to uti/yeast infections naturally so yours may actually be an allergic reaction. Much more extreme than I've experienced with the cup.

Yeah I've noticed that too but it's not as bad as yours. Just a little itchy for a day or two after having used it
