8 weeks no heartbeat / twins ??

Hello,

Me again! I just had my 8 week appointment at OBGYN and we saw two sacs but did not see heartbeat. Doctor says no hope. I will wait two weeks to miscarry naturally, if nothing happens naturally I will then take the pills to get things going. Should I have another ultrasound in two weeks? Doctor did not suggest to do so. Anyone gone through something like this? Thank you

Did they test your levels to see if they are going up? You could be only six weeks or less. Period calculations aren't always right. I would def want another ultrasound and my levels checked first

No absence of a heart beat is going to make me quit fighting to have my babies.  You keep going girl until you just can't go any further. You protect those babies. Get another test and another test.  Ultra sound blood. Urine. Like anothe post suggestions you may be too early.

:( unfortunately it was confirmed that the babies were gone. They had stopped growing at around 6 weeks, no heartbeat still. I had a d&c done 3/7. Going to take time to take it all in and mourn for as long as I need to. We go through so much as women ! The ups and downs :/ I know one day I'll get to meet them 💖

Ifyou don't naturally miscarry, I would ask for another one. Yeah it would stink to see if there aren't heart beats but I would personaly rather be totally sure they were just wrong on your due date or somrthing.

I'd do tests until I got a definitive answer. They said my son didn't have a heartbeat and he'll be turning 7 this year. Praying for two, strong heartbeats in the next two weeks!

I agree, keep going, I would do more tests blood, urine, ultrasound anything you can. It could just be too early for the heartbeats to show.

Thank you! I think I will have another ultrasound in two weeks, just to be sure. It's been a whirlwind - I went in just two weeks ago and we only saw one sac, there was a heartbeat. Was such a surprise to see two today but no activity at all. Also - I want to add that I initially went in at what was supposed to be my 8 week appointment and the baby was only measuring at 5 weeks. It has not been a cookie cutter experience :/
