Be honest: do you judge parents-to-be that aren't married?

I only ask because my boyfriend and I are expecting. We both have great jobs and are in love. We have such a wonderful life together, but neither of us care much about marriage. We aren't religious and we also don't feel like dealing with wedding planning. Maybe one day but it doesn't appeal to us now.

You can be honest since no one can see who votes for what.

I only judge people who say things like

"We don't want to get married before TTC because it's too expensive".-hey guess what babies are too.

"Don't think we want to get married (even though I'm TTC because I'm not ready for that commitment level of commitment)."-HAVING A CHILD WITH SOMEONE IS A HUGE COMMITMENT.

Other than that, you do you!

I personally don't judge but I did feel judged when I was in that position. It was part of the reason we went with a courthouse wedding (we've been together for years and we're already engaged).

I literally couldn't care less lol. We're married but to me it's a personal decision, you shouldn't ever get married unless you're sure you want to. It doesn't make a relationship any stronger either. Just makes it more of a pain in the ass if you do split. To me it's just a piece of paper. I know that offends some people but it doesn't change your relationship in any way. Just legally.

Personally i dont care if parents are married single divorced together but unmarried. The only question i always wonder is why when people are together for like 20 years dont they just tie the knot make it official? Everyone is different though. I am religious however i didnt get married for that reason. I also dont believe its just paper. To me marriage is a bond recognized by pretty much everyone everywhere proclaiming that two people want to be together forever. That being said its not for everyone. Its a really big commitment to me and i dont feel like that is something for everyone.

I do. But that has nothing to do with whether or not they're good people or parents. I just believe in marriage before babies. I'm not religious, but also don't think marriage is 'just s piece of paper.' If it was, then everyone would do it because basically a piece of paper is nothing, but they don't, because it does mean more.

I'm an unmarried parent, my mom is a single parent, my friend was an unmarried teen parent, etc.. I'm in no place to judge anyone! Marriage is a pice of paper.

Nobody should judge if you are married or not, it's not their life. 
I'm married, and we don't even wear rings. We have them just don't care to wear them. We both know how we feel, we both know what each other is doing. We don't see a need to jusifty it to others.
