Irregular Period

Back story:

I am 25 years old and have a 6 year old son. I was put on birth control when I was 15 for having irregular periods (I would go months without having one). I got pregnant on birth control (wasn't taking it completely faithfully though, typical teenager) when I was 18. Since my son was born I was on the pill, but stopped September 2016 before my husband and I got married. We are wanting to have another child. However, since I've stopped the pill my periods have reverted back to being completely irregular like they were when I was a teen. It's frustrating, because it's almost like I feel like I'm pregnant, but the tests say no. I started my last period after 46 days of not having one, and I currently am on day 57 since my last period.

Does anyone know how or if this can affect my chances of getting pregnant? Thankfully we haven't been trying for too terribly long, just freaking myself out.
