pregnant at 18. unexpected

Found out after being told for weeks I have a kidney infection that I am actually pregnant. I'm 18 and have taken my pill religiously but now I google the pill I take and this is scarily common. I'm scared, worried but excited all at the same time. As my mum kept saying to me the dr could have came in and told me worse news. Hgc levels were around 6000 on Sunday and I scan I got a couple days later the gestational sac was 14mm but they still haven't estimated how far along I am. Any help or opinions from your own experience would be great!
