How do you ladies feel about age gaps?

My hubby and I have a age gap. I was just wondering if anyone else does and how people feel about them.

My partners 12 years and 8 months older than me we got together when I was 17 I'm in the Uk and legal age is 16 here, I was so immature up until the age of 21 but he's been so patient with me I can not fault him, he's my world

To me, it depends on the age of the couple. An 10 year age gap isnt bad if you're in your 30s-40s versus if you're 15 dating a 25 year old. I'm 19 & my boyfriends 23 so theres a 4 year age gap between us & I love the dynamics of our relationship. It also depends on the maturity of each person in the relationship so there are so many factors in my opinion.

Age in no way relates to maturity from my experience. My husband is 2 years younger than I am and he's more mature than the guy I dated before him who was 10 years older. As long as the you treat one another with respect and have mutual goals / communication, age doesn't matter

Personally I think it depends on the gap and the people involved. Are we talking a 15 year old and a 30 year old? Or more like 40 year old with 29 year old? Or just a few years difference? Because each situation is completely different. For me, I've dated someone 12 years older and we were in very different places in our life. My boyfriend now is 6 years older and it feels like just the right distance.

Age doesnt matter. What matters is what stage you are at in life and where you see it going from where you are. If you find somebody with the same goals as you, it can work regardless of age difference.

My husband and I are 22 years apart. About to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in June and due with our 3rd baby in May.

His parents are 15 or 17 years apart and have been married 27 years.
