Who out there has married there high school sweetheart? I wanna here some of your stories and what hardships came along with it.

We have been together since we were 15 and We have been through so much together. I was diagnosed with PCOS and very sever endometriosis (stage 4). Weve been told I would never have kids at 20 years old, and since then I have been dealing with chronic pelvic pain. There are days when I cant even get out of bed, But he always sticks by me. He never lets me lose my confidence. We ended up getting pregnant, and had a miscarriage. Still, he took the reins, held my hand and whipped my tears. He has never given up on me... Im so lucky to spend my life with my best friend 💚

Me! I met my husband and began dating him when I was 12  and he was 14(I know this is rather horrifying....). We got married last year when I was 21 and he was 23! Honestly, the only hardship we've faced is that college can be kind of a challen when you're in a serious relationship because any relationship poses a distraction for school. Also, we've been wanting to have a baby forever, since we've been together so long. We know we've been too young until about this year. We're trying to wait until being totally financially stable and graduated- but who knows!

Anyways, marrying your midschool/high school sweetheart is such a beautiful experience. Being able to go through so many stages of life already has been amazing. We basically grew up together. We have the same group of friends.

My hubby and I met in high school! Started dating when I was 16 and he was 18. Been together since(almost 8 years), been married for 5 years and have two boys (2 1/2 and 7 months old).

We had a crazy story. I am Indian (Sikh) and he's white. In my culture there is no dating allowed so I told him no at first even tho i realllly liked him but he asked again and I said yeah! We decided to secretly date. Made it almost the whole school year then my mom found out, threatened me and said she'd tell my dad who would kill me and so on. I was so scared knowing my dad's temper so I ran away that night.... then my family convinced me to come back and visit my family in india, so I did and then they wouldn't let me come back, threatened me and my husband, made me write suscide note at gun point, took all my fingerprints and took all my things (passport and all) 
I got a hold of my grandpas phone and sent a message to my hubby and told him what was going on. And his mom and him got a hold of the FBI who worked with us embassy to get me back. Didn't talk to my family for 4 years after that.

All that set aside I love being with my hubby since high school. We know each other so well, feel like we grew up together and became adults together. It's amazing to look back and think we were two shy high school kids and now have two kids together and are so crazy around each other haha

Me! Were best friends at 14 then dated at 15 we dated through hs. (With ups and downs nothing too crazy) I was moving 4 hours away for college and he joined the navy. We decided to break up and see where life took us bc we didn't wanna ever feel like we never got to find ourselves as adults on our own. Well a year and a half later while I was at college in San Antonio Texas I received a call from Japan. It was him! We decided we knew we were for each other and just got married in December! It's not easy but it's worth every minute especially when you grow with one another

My husband and I started dating when I was 15 and he was 16, we met in highschool my freshman year pole vaulting:) we had a lot of issues to start, he is a first generation russian immigrant... Who's family (him included) are also a very seriously slavic baptists and spoke nearly no english. It is nearly unheard of that they marry outside their church. I was raised an American athiest, but found the Lord about a year before we met. I had no church of my own, but studied the Bible quietly by myself. His family did not accept me for about four years despite me attending their russian language church from the time is was 16. My family had me convinced he was dating me for practice and would leave me behind to marry a russian girl once he was old enough :( We dated all the way through highschool, and continued dating despite going to different colleges that were 2 hours away from eachother. He would drive into town each friday night, and another 2 hours back to his college on sunday evenings just so we could have weekends together. ❤ Though still fighting to be together, we decided to take a 9 month break just to be sure we actively loved eachother and wanted to be together.. We wanted to be sure we were on Gods path, and were staying together for more than just comfot and predictability. We made a deal that we would not contact the other for 9 flat months, that we would try new things, and that we would be honest with eachother when we met back up... It turns out (despite each seeing other people) we only wanted eachother. After 9 months with absolute 0 contact, we got back together and it felt like we had never been apart. A couple months later we were engaged, and now we have been married for almost 3 years. :) we of course still have problems, but love outweighs all. :)

I did! We broke up for several years during college but stayed close friends and got married when we were 25. Best thing ever to marry your best friend! We have arguments every now and the. But know each other inside and out and have since long before we were married.

I met my husband my sophomore year and his senior year. Once he graduated, he left for the army so we were long distance for two years. Once I graduated I moved my whole life across the country to live with him. 
We have now been married 6 months and have our first child on the way. I couldn't be happier than I am now ❤

My fiancé and I have been together ever since I moved to this state in 10th grade, and he was a senior. So I was 15 and he was 18. We are now 18 and 21 and will be getting married in 3 months :). We've been though soo much together. He went away for college and it was too much for me to handle being away from him, so I did my senior year in 6 months and went to college with him on the other side of the country (at the age of 17) the next semester he went back. While at college I fell into a deep depression and my anxiety was worse than ever. I ended up having to come home and get therapy and he came home with me and supported me, despite not really understanding. My parents had told me that I can't get married unless we go to college first. Well we never returned to college because of my issues but he is a mechanic now and we are about to be married soon :)

Well he's MY high school sweetheart ;) he's five years older than me and we started dating when I was 17 so he wasn't in highschool any longer.  We dated all through college and 6 years into the relationship moved in together.  I decided to go back to university while still working which was tough on us but a year into that we bought our first house.  He was promptly laid off which was another stressor but we pulled through.   He proposed finally after being together for 10 years, and we were married he following year.  Have spent he last four years ttc and having to deal with miscarriages and hearbreak along the way.  So there's been many ups and downs along the way but we are still in this together.  I think the hardest part of being together so young is that (I at least) didn't know who I was going to be eventually and did a lot of growing and changing and maturing along the way.  But we worked hard at the relationship and making it work.  And grew together rather than apart :)
