My boobs are killing me, how can I possible breastfeed while pregnant?

I'm about 8 weeks pregnant I think (haven't had ultrasound to verify dates yet) and I'm still breastfeeding my almost 12 month old...but lately my boobs are so tender from the pregnancy and my child scraping her teeth on me that breastfeeding is super painful. I was planning on weaning soon but my child is reluctant to be done, refuses to fall asleep without the boobs. So how can I continue to feed her without it being painful?

Have you spoken with a lactation consultant? They may be able to help you with latch or a solution that would work for you.

Personally, I'd see how tender they still were in two weeks before I tried to wean. 
Other than that, just gently try to introduce the bottle and decrease the breast. Baby will probably be upset but they do adjust. Keeping the rest of your routine consistent helps too.

It only take 2 weeks to change a behavior. If weaning is what's best for you, just wean and be ready for whining and fits for a couple weeks. Baby will learn to sleep without your breast

It gets better, but nothing really helps other than time. I was breastfeeding my daughter (2 months old at the time) when i got pregnant with my son. I was able to continue breastfeeding until she was 7 months, at which point we switched to formula because she wasnt gaining very much weight and started having less and less wet diapers. I think my body just couldnt handle feeding two babies at once. The breast tenderness did last a few weeks during early pregnancy
