All Women Walk Out on March 8th
There is an All Women Walk-Out (strike) on March 8th for Intn'l Women's Day. The principle idea is that by taking women out of the workforce for the day, folks will "recogn(ize) the enormous value that women of all backgrounds add to our socio-economic system--while receiving lower wages and experiencing greater inequities, vulnerability to discrimination, sexual harassment, and job insecurity."
Due to those aforementioned inequalities, I know that makes the act of striking seem daunting or untenable. So I thought I would share this article with you about how to show solidarity with other women if you aren't able to take the day off:
