cervix questions

Im fairly new to checking my cervix and from what I've researched everyone is a little different. I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated but I think it was around the 19/20 of feb. my cervix was high the last day or so and today is even higher...that's a good sign right? I read it drops for AF so if it's high I could be pregnant? Any one have any experience? How was your cervix when you got your BFP?
