my emotionally detached boyfriend

So me and my boyfriend have been together almost a year now. Just recently found out we were pregnant. We live together and are engaged but I just have a problem. He is very much emotionally detached from everything. We had two miscarriages before this one and I felt like something was wrong those times. But this time it just feels right! Anywho! I ask him questions like ,"will you be in the room holding my hands and supporting"? He says ," No, I'm not watching that again"! So I gone on telling him how I would really like him to and that he needs to open up more and be supportive of me. When I ask him to spend time with me one night he throws his phone across the room because I asked him to turn his game off and watch a movie with me. And I was nagging saying," is that game that important"? But never in a high tone or demanding tone in a joking matter. I cried myself to sleep today and he asked me what was wrong and I said nothing. He has been in jail for 11 years and I met him a year ago he has never really been in a relationship before. What should I do? Please help
