prepping for supplementing

No baby yet (6 days overdue 😩) but I want to have some formula in the house in the event that I need to use it. I plan on breastfeeding but more importantly I just plan on making sure I'm feeding in general! I got three full similac can samples in the mail for free... would these be ok? I guess I'm asking if there is a super specific new newborn formula or these samples which say infant formula are ok..
