Got my tongue pierced then got mad because I couldn't eat, took it out & let it close😂😂 anyways, I was wondering if anyone ever let a piercing close & they got it re pierced. How was it?

Here's the thing about tongue piercings.. the healing sucks.. for a week to two weeks eating suckssss.. but if you stick it out.. it's healed in 2ish weeks.. it heals faster than any other piercing.. it's just are you willing to committ? If not try a dermal or something else.

I have my tongue pierced and the first time while I was sleeping, I lost the top ball and didn't have extras. I had to let it close up. It didn't hurt to get it done but the second time hurt so bad going through all the scar tissue. I actually cried. I'm not a big crier. I'd suggest to tough it out if you really like it. I ate a lot of soft foods and use mouth wash after every meal. Mine healed quickly the second time.

I've had mine re done 3x and honestly I didn't notice a difference, it's like childbirth it's gonna hurt but after you just forget so when it got done again it didn't hurt anymore or any less it was just pain hah

If u re pierce it again it will fucking hurt like a bitch, it can 100% be done but what's the piont u will more than likely take it back out again. Lol obviously u can't eat or drink after a tongue piercing, ur tongue will swell up  u have had a needle go through it

I've never had my tongue done so I'm not sure how the scar tissue heals.. but I got my tragus done, let it close, then re-pierced it. It was a little more painful because the tissue was thicker buuut it's not terrible! Totally redo it because that's really cute!
