TTC #1 and very impatient

I'm 28 and my husband and I are TTC #1! 😃😃 I've been off BC for 6 months now and every month I'm let down when AF shows up. I know that I should just be patient and it will happen at the right time but I hate playing the waiting game. I have been using the clear blue digital ovulation tests and have gotten a "high" reading every month but have never gotten a "peak" reading. My husband is now getting frustrate, of course bc he doesn't understand a woman's body, but I really don't either. I just know that's how God made us. If anyone has any advice on conceiving we would greatly appreciate it!
