Period post MC

I've just started my 3rd period post MC 😢and I'm finding them a lot more painful than they used to be and I am bleeding about twice as much as I did before I got pregnant. I took the pills to help start the MC as we found out at our early ultrasound that the baby didn't have a heartbeat. Wondering if taking the pills is causing this or if it's normal for your period to be significantly worse post MC. Anyone had this same problem? Thanks x
