my baby is suddenly so fussy!!!!

My 8 week old baby is suddenly fussy. He is a great baby! He doesn't cry much unless he is hungry, hot, or dirty diaper. For the past two weeks he has been fussing for what seems like no reason to me. Is this normal for babies this age to fuss? I feel like I'm doing something wrong. He's on a great schedule but he doesn't sleep as much during the day anymore. He sleeps 8 hours at night. I feed him every 2-3 hours still and we play. I just want to know what this is and how long is lasts. I'm a first time mom and I feel horrible when he's fussing :( not to mention I'm going crazy!
