month 7 TTC: looking for advice

Paige • Trying for baby number 1 with husband of 3 years. 1 Miscarriage & 1 Ectopic. Come on rainbow baby! 🌈💖👶🏼
So my husband and I have been trying now for 7 months to get pregnant. I went off the pill back in July and the first few months, my period was all over the place. Now it has started to seemingly regulate and it seems like my luteal phase is always 12 to 13 days long. I have been getting positive ovulation tests the last 7 months and we have been having sex during the fertile window. I just got my period today, 2 days earlier than expected and am feeling discouraged. Everywhere I read it says that 80% of couples trying to conceive will conceive in 6 months, yet here we are and nothing. I'm wondering if I should be worried? Is it normal or common to get positive ovulation tests consistently but still not get pregnant? If anyone has an advice or words of encouragement on how long they've been trying or how long it took them to conceive I would really appreciate it 😊
