What will you or did you first offer your baby? And when did you/ will you start?

Just curious!  Could be fun!

Puréed avocado with breastmilk then carrots, squash and sweet potatoes. I also make old fashioned oatmeal with breastmilk and run it through a food processor to smooth it out. I refuse to give the rice cereal due to it having virtually no nutritional value and is empty calories.

I have a question for any momma that knows the answer 😭 so I just started feedings my 5 month old son solids. We're starting with carrots. I've read to only give him 1 or 2 tbs of the carrot puree 1x or 2x a day...the Gerber package says to discard after 2 days....so I guess what I want to know is how do I not waste all of the food in the cup? There's way more than a few tbs in each serving 🙈 thanks!
