Military ball help!!!

Trying to find me a dress for military ball. Never been so idk what style or anything. My boyfriend will be in navy blues so I was thinking this dress may match him but it was a little big in the chest and a little out of my price range. What are yalls thoughts? What did yall wear to military balls? Pictures? I have until April. My Nana is gonna take me dress shopping over spring break if I don't get this one. Thoughts?
