If you've had a baby before, did you go into labor in the middle of the night or during the day?

I always hear the stories of people waking up in the middle of the night saying "It's time!!!" and rushing to the hospital. How did it happen for you? I'm curious how the timing of labor plays out in real life.

1st- induced (early morning)
2nd- evening, awake
3rd- middle of the day, awake

Mine have all been different, and I tend to labor at home for several hours before "rushing" to the hospital. My water also doesn't break until I am in transition or pushing.

I was in bed and starting having contractions. I remember it was 3am. I tried sleeping through it...however by 6am I was in the bath crying as the contractions were getting stronger! Ended up delivering at 12:31pm so just over 9 hours in labor.

My water broke at 11:30 p.m., no contractions prior to it breaking. We went to the hospital immediately because there was meconium in my water. I had him at 3:14 a.m. Only 3.5 hours of labor! 😊 it was my first as well 😊

I always go into labor around dinner time so I can labor all night. Makes me nice and tired to start Journey off to motherhood.

I had contractions start Saturday morning and they went into Sunday . When they were 5 min apart we headed to the hospital around noon.      I was 4 cm when I arrived , they broke my water around 4 , started pitocin and I had her at 7:23 pm . It was nothing like the movies for me , very relaxed and easy.

My third son was middle of the night. Oddly I thought the beginning contractions were hunger pains, my first 2 babies were induced so I never had labor really "come on"by itelf lol. I got up to eat a granola bar, didn't help, had another and it was getting worse. Went to the hospital and by that point it was obvious to me what was going on, I felt like I needed to push! I kept telling them to please  hurry up and and get me into a bed, but because I just walked in fairly calmly they didn't think there was a need to hurry. I was almost 8 cm dialate by the time they checked. No time for pain meds, or for my doc to get there lol.

Induced with both. Water had to be. Token with my daughter. My son, the water leaked out and he had none left.

Morning asleep. Woke up to contractions at 730am. Got in the tub because that always stopped them before, but thid time they didn't stop

My first I was induced. Water and pitocin started right around 5pm and she was born at 10:27pm. Second I was sitting on the couch and got my first painful contraction at right about 7:30pm and she was born at 10:48pm. So I have night time babies thus far we'll see if this baby follows in suit ;)
