Question about seat/stroller combo!!!

I have the Eddie Bauer Alpine 4 travel system and when I try to put the car seat into the stroller it clicks in wrong to where the weight doesn't even register. It should be tilted about two inches towards me. I've looked everywhere online for answers and the instruction book doesn't say anything about this problem. Does anybody else have this system and come across this problem? Thanks in advance!
