Need help

Ok so a little back story

Its hard to explain but ill try.

Ok so me and my husband have been trying for 3 years to have a baby with no luck. So we decided to look into adoption well just as we started to look into it. A friend of mine told me about her friend who wants to put a unborn baby up for adoption. So we meet her and she said she wanted us to have the baby so I went and spend over 1000 on stuff for the baby a few weeks later she moves to a different state but says she will be back to have the baby and give it to us. Well i just found out she has chosen a new family and we won't get the baby.

Is there anything I can do?

I have all the Facebook messages saying we was adopting the baby.
