I think love is different for anyone, and you can't really tell someone they're not in love you know? I told my bf I loved him after 3 weeks of dating, and we're still together nearly a year later. But that love is gonna be different from the love once we've been married for 50 years... there's different types/levels of love

I thought I was in love at 15 or 16. I had no clue what love was. It took me years (I'm 30 now) a divorce, and many relationships to understand the meaning of true love and all of the compromises, sacrifices, and challenges of true love. I'm now a newly wed and my husband taught me true love. We have fought many challenges in our 6 month relationship and in our 1 month of marriage already. Here is a photo of our recent challenge, I almost lost him last week. Love is being prepared for the best and worst.

I think you can fall in love when you're young. I don't think a lot of people do though- for lack of a better term they experience puppy love. For most people it's more like being in love with the idea of love. Most young people haven't figured out what they want out of a relationship or what love means to them. They don't see warning signs most of the time and often just love someone because they feel they're supposed to.

But there are people that fall in love young. They experience real love. But I don't think the majority do. My best friend fell in 'love' at 13 and she was with this guy for nearly 5 years. Then left him because he was a horrible person. Then at 18 she fell in love for real. Another friend feel in love at 14- she's 19 now and still with the guy and still in love with him. I fell in love once at 15 and again at 16- both times I really believed that's what it was but I was very wrong. I didn't see alarm bells and I was honestly happy to have a boyfriend more than anything. But at that age it was love to me. At 18 I again though I feel in love but I was very very wrong. I really feel in love at 19. And I swear I'll love this man for the rest of my life. It's a totally different experience- and maybe it's just a deeper version of love than I felt as a teenager.

Love isn't a finite definition. And different people define it differently. So you could find it at 12 or you might not until you're 40. But I think you can't truly fall in love until you you've figured out who you are and what you feel love is and what matters to you.

I believe when you are younger it is actually easier to fall in love . With that being said it usually isn't with the right person . When you are young you are naive and will tend to look past red flags . Dating is all trial and error . Unfortunately you have to go through things to realise your own worth and what you will not put up with . With that being said sometime some people find the one at a younger age . Some people can end up lucky and not have to go through several relationships to find someone who they are compatible with . It's rare but it can happen . I think it's fucked up to tell someone that they aren't in love or experienced lived because they could of . The person and situation could be terrible and later on you may even cringe but it doesn't mean the feelings weren't there .love is different for people

Of course that depends on what one defines love as.

Of course two young people can truly love each other.

I think the age division should stop because I've certainly met older women who don't know one thing about love (as I see it) and I've met plenty of teenagers who sound like love experts :P

I feel like kids can fall in love, but they may have some clouded judgment and some are "head over heels" for someone they've just met. Kids fall in love with pets, siblings, parents, grandparents, best friends, etc all before they ever experience that kind of love, but they know how to love. I am 20 years old and I work with kids, and several tell me that they love me on regular basis and it really warms my heart. I know this isn't exactly the same, but it all comes from the same place. I believe that they can be truly in love as a young teenager.

I thought i was inlove at 16 and now that i look back i wish i could slap myself im now 22 and experiencing real love ❤️
