please read !!!!
So today I had my first official ob appointment , last week ( march 9) I went in so they can take out blood and to make sure that I was pregnant. Got a call yesterday (Monday) and they said that yes I was pregnant , and that my HCG levels were high. Well here's the confusing part ; my last period was on dec 16 and it lasted 7 days. On January I had no period what so ever I just spotted brown blood which was really not much just for 2 days. Well on feb 2 I went to the ER because I was having a lot of pain in my stomach , they checked if I was pregnant, and test came out negative , well on feb 13 I had another doctors appointment which they took out blood again. Didn't get my results back until March 9 and by then I had already taken 3 pregnancy test because I hadn't gotten my period on February again and all the test came out positive (took them on feb 27). Well when I went in to my regular doctors appointment the doc told me my blood work came out negative on the pregnancy test and that's when I told her I had already taken some home pregnancy test and they all came out positive. She said that's very weird then why did the blood work come out negative unless you got pregnant later than that. So today when I went in I heard The ob say my HCG levels were around 9,000 ; he did an ultrasound and he saw nothing at all. Idk if it's because it's too early. And all he said to me was " I don't see anything at all, you need to get blood work done today and another one on Thursday to compare all the HCG levels to see if they are going down or not." Then the nurse told him that I have been spotting on and off brown. All he said to me " you might need an D&C or unless you passed the tissue and that's why nothing is there". But I always check when I go the bathroom and I don't see any blood or tissue my spotting is not even that much it's sometimes just a couple of little small spots. Ughh I got so worried specially because I had a Mc last September. And now I have to wait till next Tuesday to see him again and hopefully by that time I get some good news. I'm hoping for the best but to be honest I'm expecting the worse. And what sucks the most is that idk how far along am I since I never got a period on January or feb. he said for sure I wasn't 12 weeks pregnant. My question is has this ever happened to anyone ? Was it too early to see anything on the ultrasound btw it wasn't a vaginal one either.
